Research
My areas of expertise are gender, race, and inequalities; critical criminology and social control; political sociology; and qualitative methods. My research interests are in the areas of intersectionality, victimology and resistance, violence against marginalized groups, and social movements. Much of my current work explores social control, inequalities, and violence and victimization.
